Molten Lava Exploding in Northwest Arkansas and Beyond.

Those planning a wedding or event in Northwest Arkansas can feel safe to add another group to the list of bands they want book for their reception. Northwest Arkansas has no shortage of bands to offer. Bands like Ultra Suede, Oreo Blue, Fullhouse, Benjamin Del Shreve are the powerhouses of the Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville metro area and beyond. Enter Molten Lava–Fayetteville’s youngest band has conquered the Arkansas event and wedding scene in no time, playing around 50 events in their first year of existence (about one a week) not to mention numerous live appearances at club‘s like George‘s Majestic Lounge, Grub‘s, Little Rock‘s Rev Room and Sticky Fingerz. 2008 was started with a 1400 person triumph at Giley’s in Dallas and a face melting evening at one of Fayetteville’s biggest charity balls Paint the Town Red. The year has much to bring from the 80’s pop cover band. The Rev Room, Sticky Fingerz, and Grub’s have already booked multiple dates with the band; and don’t be surprised the see Molten Lava popping up in nearby metros like Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Dallas, and beyond.

First MLGWTOG Huge Success

Fayetteville and surrounding cities were packed full of people this weekend. Hotels were sold out, resteraunts at capacity, and gas in short supply. We want to thank all of those people for coming to town for the Molten Lava Grub’s World Tour of Grub’s first show. You’ve had a long weekend, but now it’s time to start getting ready for the next show on Sept. 21st.  We’re going to recommend that folks start camping out on the sidewalk in front of Grub’s at least on the 20th.

Advance tickets will be available soon, so keep checking here for more info on that.

If you have any photos or comments you would like to share, please register (it’s easy) and do so. You can do it on the right hand side of the screen.

The Molten Lava Grub’s World Tour of Grub’s

We’re a week away from the very first show of The Molten Lava Grub’s World Tour of Grub’s Football Season Concert Series. We’re going to rock it every Friday night before a home game. You can buy tickets ahead of time or at the door. We’re going to have t-shirts available. You’ll definately want one of these. Grub’s is spacious, but you’ll still want to get there as early as possible; unless you want to stand in the line that’s going around the Walton Arts Center, all the way up Dickson to College Ave. (I wouldn’t recommend that). Come early and eat some of Grub’s world class cuisine.

First Show                                                            mltour.jpg

August 31st, Friday Night

Opening: The American Years

Starting: 9:30pm
